Recently, I read a very interesting and insightful book written by a forensic pathologist. The book was titled ‘unnatural causes’ by Dr Richard Shepherd. this book not only opened my eyes to the world of forensic pathology, something a knew little about, but also gave an insight into the challenges in the life of any doctor.
What is forensic pathology?
Forensic pathology is a pathology that focuses on determining the cause of death by examining a corpse. This profession differs greatly from any other medical speciality, and this book really made me appreciate the hard work and skill that goes into this extremely precise science.
The book also discusses the great responsibilities and issues faced in the life of any doctor and I would strongly recommend this book, not only because it is fascinating but it also opened my eyes to many things I had little knowledge about prior to reading.
